OUR STORY

Founded in 2018 by our Creative Director, Mrs. Jayani Fernandez, De Noiva began its journey in her home studio in Kurunegala, Sri Lanka. A graduate of the University of Moratuwa with a Bachelor of Design, Jayani is a professionally trained fashion designer with a deep passion for bridal couture.

Before establishing De Noiva, she gained valuable experience as a designer at Waves Sri Lanka and later as Executive Designer at Selyn Sri Lanka. With her creative vision and expertise, Jayani has brought joy to over 1,500 brides, crafting bespoke bridal wear that celebrates their most special day.

Rooted in Sri Lankan tradition, Jayani’s designs beautifully blend cultural heritage with modern elegance, giving each piece a distinctive and meaningful aesthetic.

Today, De Noiva operates studios in Colombo and Kurunegala, serving brides both locally and internationally. Through our De Noiva Global Bride online platform, we have had the honor of working with clients across the world—including in the USA, Australia, Italy, Japan, the UK, Russia, France, and New Zealand—delivering custom-designed bridal solutions with care and precision.
